  • Jim Wilson - Impressive quality for the price! Easy, one person assembly. Nice powder coated metal construction- FAR exceeds the thin wire of other folding/collapsible kennels. Shipping was much faster than estimated. This crate is designed for a dog that is crate trained; I think over time a large determined dog could bend the bars, as they are hollow and not solid steel. Of course most everyone on the market has hollow bars, or the product would weigh 200 pounds.

Carol S. - Needed a man cave for our aging kitty when we are out, whose bladder has lost some of its control. This holds his litter box (litter falls through to the tray below for easy cleaning). Samson is out when we can keep an eye on him. We also bought the heavy duty pet playpen to keep him off of certain carpets and the rooms with finer furniture. A small investment to protect our furnishings while he lives out his final years.

Diana F. - The instructions are easy to understand, and it is easy to set up. STURDY, my dog has eaten her way out of several crates. So far this has resisted and still looks like new. The only problem with it is the door doesn't fold back to full open.

The cage is working awesome, and was very, very easy to set up! The only problem I encountered with my dog was she was able to unlock the latches on the front door easily after 2 days. I fixed that issue by using 2 pinch clasps and placing them in the holes on the latches when there in the lock position and that worked perfect. I highly recommend this cage for owners having issues with escape dogs like mine was.

. - Put it together and the top door would not close. Turns out you can put the back panel on backwards. Flipped the back around, and it closes properly now. We put a study crate pad in for the grated bottom, and now our dog is comfy cozy. Looks like this will work for when we are away and thunderstorms hit.

Good quality cage. Top latch is a little weak but overall happy with product.

I bought 4 of these, and I love them. Every hole lined up for the screws; they are well constructed; easy to put together and very sturdy. Easy to move too thanks to the wheels.

Cynthia S. - Love this crate for my Aussie. She is crate trained, so I did not need the heavy duty aspect so much as I wanted a large good looking crate on wheels. This does the job nicely. It's easy to move when vacuuming, and I can roll it into a bedroom when we are having family over for the holidays.

We have gone through half a dozen plastic and metal kennels with our dog who is a Border Collie / Australian Cattle dog mix.

He will from time to time go through bouts of severe separation anxiety, and most recently went all the way through the drywall of an exterior wall in our laundry room in a matter of a few hours.

In this crate, he has met his match. The bottom, though it made of metal grating, it appears to be comfortable for him due to the flex allowed by the raised design. There are no signs of pressure points or bare skin. Regardless of what other reviewers have claimed, this very clever dog has not been able to figure out the locking mechanisms. One of the locks was a bit loose, but a simple tweak of the hardware resolved that problem.

There were a couple of issues with mis-aligned holes but it was nothing I couldn't fix with a drill. All in all a great buy, do yourself a favor and buy this kennel once before you spend as much or more on multiple replacement crates.

Amanda S. - This is an amazing cage. My Great Pyrenees likes it but he can get out through the top latch just by hitting the top repeatedly.

Clark T. - Perfect for my wife's two rabbits, the grate at the bottom helps keep their area clean. We can wheel it out the back door and let them loose to romp in their pen area.

PKF - Came quickly; took about thirty minutes to put together. Overall a good value, the locks a a little weak, my border collie figured out how to flip the latch out pretty quickly. Saw a review that suggested luggage locks, and that has done the trick nicely.

At the time of this writing, I've had the crate for about a month.

Overall this has been a fantastic improvement over the old plastic crates you get at pet supply stores. My Chow Chow/Siberian Husky mix has horrible separation anxiety and she would claw at the doors and floors of such crates destroying about one a year (at around $75 a piece that adds up over time.)

As the crate is crafted with very exacting measurements some of the screw holes may Seem to be misaligned but all I really needed to do to get around this was re-seat/re-position the pieces. This took me about ten minutes to assemble. Because my dog does dig I swapped around the metal liner pan and grated floor so that she wouldn't damage her paws.

The only problem I have with the crate is the closure hardware is not very good at all. I knew when I bought the crate that I would have to find something to keep the crate locked. I went to a hardware store and bought a few small lengths of chain, a padlock, and a couple other pieces of hardware to keep the crate closed.
